Ratt's Stephen Pearcy, Runaways' Cherie Currie Return to Rock L.A.'s Rainbow

Sunset Strip icons lead rock and roll haunt's legendary 'Party in the Parking Lot,' Sept. 6.

The amps are about to crank up once again on the Sunset Strip.

One of West Hollywood's most enduring rock landmarks, the Rainbow Bar & Grill, is bringing back its annual "Party in the Parking Lot" on Sept. 6, transforming its famous lot into an all-day celebration of hard rock, punk and heavy metal.

Topping this year's lineup are two artists whose names are forever woven into the fabric of the Strip: Stephen Pearcy, the unmistakable voice of Ratt, and Cherie Currie, the trailblazing frontwoman of The Runaways. Together, they'll headline a bill that spans generations of loud, unapologetic rock 'n' roll.

The free outdoor event also features performances from sludge-metal pioneers Eyehategod, thrash veterans Flotsam & Jetsam, Southern California punk favorites Agent Orange, Murder One, the acclaimed Motörhead tribute band, along with several additional local and touring acts.

For longtime L.A. rock fans, the Rainbow's parking lot concerts have become more than just another show—they're a tradition. Every year, hundreds of music lovers descend on the legendary Sunset Boulevard venue for an afternoon packed with live music, cold drinks, and the uunmistakablerock and roll atmosphere that has made the Rainbow a second home for generations of local and touring musicians.

Admission is free, though guests must purchase a prepaid two-drink minimum to enter. Early arrivals may also have a chance to grab one of the event's limited-edition commemorative T-shirts while supplies last.

The Rainbow Bar & Grill is located at 9015 W. Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood. Gates open at 1 p.m., but veterans of the event know it's smart to arrive well before then, as lines often begin forming hours ahead of opening.
